Hi, congratulation, your blog is nice to read. Didnot find your name.
Cats and quilts and books, these are my favorites, too.
Greetings from Vienna(Europe)!
Hi! I love your work. I am envious in a good way; hopefully someday I’ll quilt as good as you. I’m a thinker more than a doer too; I have so many ideas in my head that it’s hard to get them out into the open it’s like my head is cluttered.
Lately I’ve been roaming from one project to the other; the denim quilt, then my nephew’s engagement quilt, then making my cards to sell. If I stick to one I get bored.
Is that true for you?
Beautiful quilts, beautiful site, and most of all, a great person to chat with online. It’s been fun getting to know you.
Hope to see you on Answers again soon.
Emily
Hi Sandi, I don’t know if this already went through or not. I love your site. You make beautiful quilts. And you’re a nice person to chat with online.
Talk to you soon,
Emily
Dear Cindy,
I enjoy seeing your quilts. It’s very beautiful. You are very talented.
I am a new starter in making a quilt. I have just finished my first baby quilt and I am still working on my 2nd n 3rd one.
Do you make all your quilt by hand or with machine?
I love quilting very much n hope someday I can quilt as beautiful as yours.
Success for you!

Thank you! I make all of my quilts with a sewing machine. Hand piecing is beautiful, and someday I’d like to try it. For now, I like the speed of machine piecing. I have a frame for machine quilting, which makes it much faster to quilt, too. I quilted a 75″ square quilt in just 1 hour using a simple, loopy free motion design.
That’s a beautiful Storm at Sea – I’ve never been brave enough to try one.
I love the baskets! So colorful and different! Thanks!
Hello Sandi,
what a lovely site, so easy to read, and so much quilting eye candy! Very inspiring. I’ve just learnt foundation piecing using modern fabrics, so I guess that would be a modern quilt! Its a variation on the double wedding ring pattern. I really enjoyed putting the pieces togther, you’re right, it is best to learn the traditional methods, I’m planning on hand quilting the lap quilt now.. may take a while! My dream is to have a long-arm quilter….one day..
keep up the good work.
