Remember to breathe!
I found it interesting that you put your top on a roller~ I always let mine float.
Hope the struggles are over and you are having fun!
Actually, I was going to give it a try, but as I got to the area I realized that it would be impossible to see the quilting (black thread on black print). I decided to do a vining leaf instead, and I’m glad I did. The part I thought would be easy (bottom left corner of the practice piece) is turning out to be agony. I didn’t think about the fact that I have to sew directly over a thick seam intersection, so it’s looking a little rough. I can’t stop, though. Mom is going to hand sew the binding down and we have to have it finished in about a week. Must move forward. I’m almost halfway through.

I am just a beginner at long arm quilting. But, I am excited to learn. I appreciate all of your photos and advice.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I try to reply to every comment, but sometimes it takes a few days. And sometimes, well... it has been known to drop off the radar. I'm easily distracted by shiny things. Cancel reply

Looks terrific on the frame!!! Way to go!!!! (my longarmer rolls tops, too, just like you have)
Can’t wait to see what you do with it. Will she do a feather pattern?
No. She most definitely will not.
